Pita Pineapple!

This is my darling Pita. She is a pineapple green cheeked conure. Pita is two and I bought her for $15 on the day a Petland went out of business. She took some work but has brought nothing but joy to me. She say "Pita" "hey Pita" "BEEP!" and laughs. She is learning the X-files theme song.
My sister has Pita's sister. I like that Pita's feathers contain every color except purple! She does have a cleft beak on one side but it doesn't affect her at all.

Your birds are so pretty! Mousie Daddy still talks about them! Hes been talking about a conure too but I know next to nothing about birds so until I learn...I dont think well get one. They are beautiful though!

Angela, I think conures are more of a "step-up" bird, most of them require work and bird savvy--depending on the bird, etc. I've found amazons, ringnecks, and baby cockatiels to be pretty easy to work with...Also my pink bourkes are phenominal birds. IDK, you guys do your research and I can help, I've been studying birds for gol darn forever, I'd be happy to.

OMG that bird is soo beautiful! I've never seen one of these. We had sun conures at the rescue I worked at. They would bombard me one on each side and fly at my face lolol!

I loved conures ever since! haha
