Re: Swollen Legs
Awe, so sorry. Is there no way to dose benadryl for mice? even if you break it in a powder, weigh it, and put it in suspension? Or just liquid?
My dog (4 lbs) was on I believe 3ml 2x a day of benadryl. The vet pretty much said large doses are ok of benadryl. *shrug*

Benadryl for dogs is really easy, because you'll have no trouble giving them 1-1.5mg per lb, and everybody knows approximately how much their dog weighs.

I'm very sorry! But to try and break this down..I've worked off and on at veterinary hospitals, and it sounds like he could've been bitten (wild mouse or spider) and developed a full-body infection/sepsis as a result? It is painful, good thing you chose to ease his pain.
