Color pointbeige splash or siamese splash?
This girl is from the Pandora x Cosmos litter. I think she is absolutely stunning- Mike Chiodo commented on her photo on FB and said he missed having siamese texels. I don't want to sound like an idiot and say "She isn't siamese" if she is.
Buck was a/a B/* C/ch d/d, doe was a/a b/b ce/ce[or ce/ch.
I really like the way she's turned out and the photos I took of her do not do her justice! She is quite a looker! But is she colorpoint beige or siamese?

Looks like a Siamese splash to me, but I'm no genetics expert.
Whatever she is, she's a cutie for sure!

When she was born, did she have black eyes or red eyes? Siamese eyes darken over time, so if they're ruby now, she's Siamese. A cpb will always have had black eyes. From the photos, they look black, but I know some Siamese photograph that way, because the ruby is so dark.

Yep, she was born with black eyes. Doh. A fact I completely forgot. Thank you so much Laigaie

Funny! On my screen her eyes appear ruby. Look at her again in a strong light and tell me if I'm wrong.

Baby photo:
(Hard to see the eyes on her)
Here's another (younger) photo of her:
And now I'm seriously confused. I looked at her under a stronger light- I have to take photos of her again. She almost looks odd eyed (is that even possible with her coloring?). One eye looks ruby, one looks black. Very faint difference, but I can't see any trace of red in the right eye and see definite red in the left eye. I think I'm imagining it.
Baffled..
The younger photos of her make it look like she has black eyes. I remember her having black eyes. Could the eyes change to a more ruby color over time?
Geez, just when you think you're starting to understand things!

Re: Color pointbeige splash or siamese splash?
Looks like she has ruby eyes to me. Ruby can look black due to the ruby being so dark.
I think she is definately a Siamese. If she were a CP beige she would not have ear points. I have never seen a cp beige with ear points. All my cp beiges had just nose points. I used to breed them. They also have black eyes.

Ah, gotcha! Her points are really dark though, no? Her nose is basically black. Is that because she's a splash?
Thank you so much for your help everyone.
Re: Color pointbeige splash or siamese splash?
She is just a good pointed Siamese then. The darker the points the better!
The ch gives the nose and ear points, not splashed.

Splashing on the face can significantly darken points. JFF's Seltzer here just developed a facemask when a new cast grew him in a splash over his point. Actually, I should get a photo of that.
