RENA and THISTLE! The Tris are Here!
Well, it has finally happened. My broken Blue agouti, Blossom, was mated to a pretty tri buck. Blossom had a tri mother, so according to the 'ol Punnet square, at least 50% of these babies should be tri!!!
She shocked me by having them last night, a few nights before I thought they would be here. There are 12, at first inspection, 5 boys and seven girls!

Re: RENA and THISTLE! The Tris are Here!
I m interested to know if anyone would want any darker "carriers"? I culled two dark males today and it looks like 2-3 females are dark carriers too. There are still 7 very light babies. If no one wants carriers, I will leave it at 6-7.
I am comfortable eventually leaving two males in this litter, one for each of you, if there are two tris that is.

I would take a female. As far as bucks, one should be sufficient.

At this point, I am not sure if we got any actual "tri's" in this litter. I am hoping for splashes or c-dilutes of some kind, but it's a wait and see at this point.

Well, this litter is very very interesting!!!!
I have one black pied doe who is VERY spotty, one blue doe, and two splashed looking does, as well as three splashed looking bucks.
The splashes are VERY light right now and I don't know when they will darken enough for a photograph!

Finally I have baby pictures, you can see what I mean, these babies are so odd.
Non-tri "carrier" females
Three funny boys--light splashes?
Two strange girls. One looks Ivory and one looks splashed.

Whelp, we definitely have a few tris here. Odd, super dilute tris, but tris non-the-less.
Do you guys have any idea who wants what as far as these babies go?

Re: RENA and THISTLE! The Tris are Here!
So the light does and bucks are tri? If so, I imagine the tri's could be divided somewhat evenly between Rena and I. Are you planning on keeping the blue or black does?
Re: RENA and THISTLE! The Tris are Here!
There are three male tris. One female tri. Three female carriers, one ivory, one blue, and one black spotted.
I'll keep whatever's not wanted but I don't have to personally keep anything.

Re: RENA and THISTLE! The Tris are Here!
Ah I see. l don't have a tri doe yet. I would be interested in her and at least one buck. I would also be interested in the black spotted and ivory.
Re: RENA and THISTLE! The Tris are Here!
The only babies I'd consider keeping myself especially would be the blue and ivory does depending on type, and maybe a tri buck. IDK tho.

I'm looking for bucks and does. Thistle can have first
selection. We can use the remaining mice. Would that work
for everyone?
